COMCARE is a non-profit national advocacy alliance with over 100 organizational members, all dedicated to advancing emergency communications and response. We encourage cooperation across professional, jurisdictional and geographic lines, seeking to improve effectiveness through solutions that integrate emergency professions, government, private industry, and the public. As a collective voice, we hope to transform the emergency services “virtual enterprise” into a flexible, dynamic, all hazards, all domains, fully informed community. Membership Categories

COMCARE offers four categories of membership:

Board Leadership Circle for organizations wishing to gain a prominent voice in a highly visible emergency response organization and to help guide the direction of the organization. Members wishing to join the Board Leadership Circle must complete a membership application which will be submitted to the Board of Directors and voted on at the next scheduled Board of Directors meeting.
Private Sector Membership designed for associations whose members include For-Profit organizations or for For-Profit organizations that provide products and services related to public safety and emergency services or have a vested interest in advancing emergency services. Public Sector Membership for associations whose members include individuals in the emergency services, government or related professions and/or other organizations representing individuals in the emergency services, government or related professions, for colleges, universities or research institute and for government agencies. Individual Membership for professionals involved in emergency services who do not work for a For-Profit corporation or for a trade association of For-Profit organizations, for government officials involved in emergency services, for individuals interested in supporting COMCARE’s vision and mission and for students enrolled in a post-secondary, emergency services-related program such as public administration, technology, or any of the emergency professions.
